In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
Pour in the milk and melted butter. Stir until just combined. The batter may be slightly lumpy (Avoid overmixing).
Gently fold in the chocolate chips into the pancake batter.
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
Serve the chocolate chip pancakes warm, with additional chocolate chips sprinkled on top and your favorite toppings like fruit, maple syrup, chocolate syrup, or whipped cream.
