Easy Strawberry Mocktail Recipe

Theresa Bedford
Prep Time 5 minutes
Servings 1

Ingredients

2 strawberries, washed and hulled

¾-1 cup ice, cubed or crushed

2 ounces strawberry simple syrup (may substitute ½ to 1 Tbsp honey)

Juice of half a fresh lemon, about 1 ounce (may substitute lime)

Seltzer or club soda

Optional garnishes: strawberry, lemon curl, mint leaf

Instructions

Cut strawberries into small pieces and drop into the bottom of the glass. Mash with a muddler or wooden spoon handle. The more you mash, the more juice will be released for a sweeter and redder drink. If you prefer smaller chunks of strawberry in your drink, muddle until it’s more like a puree.

Fill the glass with ice. Pour strawberry simple syrup and lemon juice over ice. Top off with seltzer or club soda, depending on your preference. Gently stir to combine. Add desired garnishes to this delicious strawberry beverage and serve immediately.
