One of the more popular awake methods in the shifting community is the Oxy method.

It’s become popular on apps like Amino, TikTok, and Wattpad because it doesn’t require any visualization on your part.

The Oxy method involves putting some Theta waves and affirming that you are in your desired reality.

Scripting is required for other reality shifting methods, such as the Raven and Pillow methods, but not for the Oxy method.

However, you can write a shifting script and read it every day to imprint in your mind how you want to experience your desired reality after you’ve successfully shifted.

The Oxy Method for Shifting

Step 1: Lie Down in a Comfortable Position and Put on Some Theta Waves.

The first step in using the Oxy method to shift into your desired reality is to find a comfortable position and put on Theta waves in the background.

Many people believe that lying down in a starfish position is necessary for shifting. This, however, is not the case.

To begin using this method, lie down in a comfortable position.

Theta waves are “slow” waves with frequencies ranging from 3.5 to 7.5 Hz.

They are associated with creativity, intuition, daydreaming, and fantasizing, and they act as a storage facility for memories, emotions, and sensations.

Simply put, Theta waves will help you achieve the ideal sleep-wake state (mind awake, body asleep) for shifting!

Step 2: Set the Intention to Go to your DR.

The second step is to set the intention that you are going to your desired reality no matter what.

Then you make a deliberate choice to shift to your desired reality/temporary reality/waiting room.

Inhale and exhale through your nose until you are relaxed.

Step 3: Affirm that You Are Already in your DR.

The third step of the Oxy method is to recite positive shifting affirmations.

Affirmations are a crucial part of almost any shifting method, including the Oxy method.

But, instead of saying that you are shifting to your dr, begin to affirm that you are already in your desired reality.

Some examples of shifting affirmations are:

  1. I am in my DR bedroom right now.
  2. I am in my desired reality at this exact moment.
  3. I’ve already shifted to my desired reality.
  4. I love being in my DR.
  5. My desired reality is awesome.

While saying these affirmations, try to really feel your desired reality.

Step 4: You Should Experience Shifting Symptoms by Now.

The next step in the Oxy method is to experience some sort of shifting symptoms while reciting the above affirmations.

You should experience common signs of shifting, such as tingly sensations, and you should feel as if your current reality is gradually changing.

Don’t freak out! This means you’re almost there!

The following are some examples of common shifting symptoms and signs:

  • Dizziness.
  • Feeling like falling.
  • Itching or tingling throughout your body.
  • Racing heart.

It’s perfectly normal for your arms and legs to tingle and go numb because you want your consciousness to be awake while your body sleeps.

The tingling and itching sensation is caused by your brain determining whether you are still awake or asleep as a result of inactivity.

The key here is to be patient and keep affirming that you are in your dr.

Step 5: Open your Eyes, you Should Have Arrived.

The fifth and final step of the Oxy method is to open your eyes when you believe you have arrived at your desired reality!

Everything in your current reality will gradually fade away. You’ll notice a change in your surroundings, and when you’re sure you’ve arrived, slowly open your eyes.

When you are certain that you are in your desired reality, open your eyes and you should be at home.

By now, you should have arrived at your desired reality! Congratulations!

But don’t give up if you haven’t shifted already.

Shifting takes time and cannot be accomplished flawlessly on the first try.
